Plot
Alma Har'el, the Canadian filmmaker known by other titles like 'Bombay Beach', backed with the documentary 'LoveTrue'. With this film she tries to demystify the concept of true love. For getting her target, she uses three different and complicated relationships: one promising romance between Alaskans Blake and Joel; the haywain Coconut Willie who discovers that his son is not biologically his own and a songwriter Victory. After winning Tribeca's Best Documentary in 2011 for 'Bombay Beach', Har'el bets with faded and weird atmospheres and different representations of time: past, present and future. The actor Shia LaBeouf is executive producer of the film.
