Lover for a Day

'Lover for a Day' follows the story of Philosophy lecturer, Gilles, his girlfriend Arianne and his daughter Jeanne. The film picks up with Jeanne sobbing on the street after having been kicked out by her ex boyfriend, left with no other option she ends up at her father's apartment. There she meets Arianne, who she discovers is not only one of her father's students, but the same age as her. 'Lover for a Day' tells the story of a different kind of love triangle, with both the girlfriend and the daughter fighting for Gilles' attention. The conflict doesn't last for long and soon the two women become the best of friends especially when Arianne begins giving Jeanne advice and becomes a somewhat sisterly figure for the latter.
