Lost and Beautiful

The movie fuses documentary and fiction to talk about Pulcinella, a crazy servant who lives in the depths of the Vesuvius Hill, who is sent to the present time and to the actual Campania in order to help out the humble shepherd Tommaso Cestrone with his last wish: to rescue Sarchiapone, a young buffalo from the real palace of Carditello, situated in the center of the Land of Fires, where Tommaso was working as a watchman.

In this land, this beautiful and lost Italy, plagued with corruption and economic breakdown, Pulcinella and Tommaso will star a journey through the North, but the end of that journey will not be what they were expecting.

Directed by Pietro Marcello, and played by the authentic Tommaso Cestrone, Sergio Vitolo and Elio Germano, the documentary is made as tribute to the famous shepherd, who was a symbol of change and generosity is his country.
