Sergio Villanueva directs 'Los comensales' an innovative film with two special features: it was shot in only one day and the actors dialogues were improvised from a screenplay written by Villanueva. Starring well-known actors in the Spanish film industry: Silvia Abascal, Juan Diego Botto, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Denise Despeyroux and Quique Fernandez. The story centers on a meeting prepared by a writer and theatre director intended to convince four known actors to participate in her theater project. What started as a quiet and relaxing cookout, it will be extended with the excuse of preparing the project, opening their hearts to each share memories, experiences and lessons. Actors, writer and theater director will open their hearts to reveal their fears and dreams in a way they had never done before.
