Long Way North

The film is set in 1882 in Saint Petersburg. Sasha is a 15-year-old young girl from the Russian aristocracy who has never acted according to her family's wishes but she has always admired her grandfather Olukin. He is a famous explorer who built a giant icebreaker boat, The Davai, and he is always traveling around the world and living adventures. But this time, Olukin has not come back from his last trip to the North Pole, so Sasha decides to go after her grandfather in order to find him and save the reputation of her family. She will have to infiltrate herself into a boat as a sailor and she will go to an unknown world. The little girl will have to become a heroine to save her grandfather and his boat getting into this emotive and frenetic adventure that will change her inside and out.
