'Little Richard: I Am Everything' is a story about a rock and roll icon who marked the music world. The documentary it's a celebration of the life and work trajectory of Little Richard which reveals the black queer origins of the musical genre.

Through archive images and shows from the signer's time of splendor, we will take a trip to this queer icon's revolutionary life. A savage and visceral pianist and singer who influenced rock music of later years.

Through this movie we access the concerts and interviews of Richard Penniman, a celebration of a unique talent and an exploration of the mystery and the conflicts surrounding an artist than liberated a lot of people but forgot to liberate himself.

Important music figures such as John Waters, Mick Jagger, Tom Jones, Billy Porter, Lady Java, Nile Rodgers and Paul McCartney appear in this film, directed by Lisa Cortes and distributed by Avalon.

This documentary also take us to the complicated inside world of Richard, full of contradictions and changes through the production of Robert Friedman, Cortés, Liz Yale Marsh and Caryn Capotosto and the executive production of Dee Rees.
