Let Me Go

'Let Me Go' is a film based on true events that introduce us in the story of Helga Schneider, who was abandoned by her mother Traudi when she was four years old in 1941. Sixty years later, in 2000, Helga will receive a letter which informs her of her mother's terminal illness. After that, Helga decides to make a trip to Viena with her granddaughter in other to see her and say goodbye. The film shows the Helga story with her mother and also the story of the next two generations, and due to this trip the buried secrets of this family will be revealed.

'Let Me Go' is directed and written by Polly Steele, and the cast is formed by Juliet Stevenson, Karin Bertling, Jodhi May and Lucy Boynton in the leading roles.
