'The journey of Leslie' is a documentary that suggests an investigation into the incident that took place off the coast of Cedeira on June 1, 1943, when a German fighters shot down a commercial airliner covering the Lisbon-Bristol line. Leslie Howard was one of the passengers aboard that day, after being holding conferences by several European cities who Lisbon or Bristol, including Madrid. There are several theories about the true motives of his visit to Spain, which could have been crucial for triggering the German attack that prevented his return home.
