Plot
The drama 'Les souvenirs' tells the story of Roman (Mathieu Spinosi), a 23 year old who while working in a hotel lobby at night, dreams of becoming a writer. His father, 62 years old man is always messing around since he retired while his 24 years old roommate is always thinking about seducing a girl using any and all means at its disposal. He has also his grandmother, a woman of 85 years old who lives in a residence that she want to leave. One day Roman life falls apart when his father goes crazy, while his grandmother decides to escape. The disaster that surrounds her father and the search of his grandmother changes Roman's life, that while trying to find the missing one ends getting stuck in a sea of memories.

Directed by Jean-Paul Rouve, 'Les souvenirs' is the film adaptation of the novel by David Foenkinos published by Gallimard.
For soundtrack, Jean-Paul Rouve asked to singer Julien Doré reinterpreting one of the classics of French song: 'Que reste-t-il de nos amours?', by Charles Trenet.
Annie Cordy and Mathieu Spinosi, who are grandmother and grandson in the film, decided to keep in touch long after finishing the film.
