Lassie: A New Adventure

The family film about the collie dog was released with great success in Germany, accumulating more than 500,000 spectators. Winner of the award for Best Film and Best Actor for Nico Marischka at the German Children's Film & TV Festival.

The collie dog Lassie is a classic fictional character created by the British writer Eric Knight in 1940 with the story: 'Lassie: Come Home', published by The Saturday Evening Post newspaper. This character has appeared in multiple adaptations, in books, radio, television, cinema, toys, comics, animated series, games and other media. This means that, for many, Lassie is consideredthe most famous dog in the world.

'Lassie: A New Adventure' is a film more inspired by the famous Collier dog, directed by German director Hanno Olderdissen ('Robin', 'Hearts Without Reins'), and which acts as a sequel to 'Lassie Comes Home', the film released in 2020 also directed by Olderdissen.

In this installment, Lassie must carry out a rescue mission with her best friend Flo and her new friends Henri, Kleo and little Pippa, a Jack Russell terrier. Her skills as a detective will be essential to discover who is behind the mysterious disappearances of several pedigree dogs in the city.

The film stars Dennis Mojen ('60 Minutes', 'Issy & Osy' and 'Into the Night'), Justus von Dohnányi ('The Downfall', 'The Experiment', TV series 'At the Crime Scene' ), Katharina Schüttler ('Sons of the Third Reich', '13 Minutes to Kill Hitler') and the young actor Nico Marischka ('Lassie Comes Home').
