Lamb

The debut of the Ethiopian filmmaker Yared Zeleke tells the story of Ephraim, a small child whose life changes dramatically when his father goes to work in the city and leaves him in the care of his grandmother and uncles. Accompanied by his unique and inseparable friend, a little lamb, the little one tries to find its place in the family by helping in the kitchen when making patties and samosas and working in the field. The childhood of Ephraim is jeopardized by the time he discovers that his lamb is in danger, at which moment the protagonist will realize that he is willing to fight for friendship and family. Zeleke also signs the script of this family drama with two nominations in the Cannes Festival.
