Laal Singh Chaddha

Laal Singh Chaddha is an Indian man who, despite being autistic, understands human emotions very well. Through his particular story, the complete history of India will be told, but from a personal perspective: that of Laal Singh Chaddh. It is a remake of the award-winning film 'Forrest Gump', directed by Robert Zemeckis, starring Tom Hanks and released in 1994. Like the character of Forrest Gump, Laal Singh Chaddha will also wear braces and prosthetic legs during his childhood Like his American version, Laal Singh Chaddha will join the army, graduate, and learn about life as his country goes through a turbulent time of change, just like him.

The central themes of this film are autism and Asperger's, disabilities that have been made into movies and have been adapted for the big and small screen on many occasions.

Directed by Advait Chandan and written by Atul Kulkarni, the film stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, Mona Singh, Manav Vij, Rofique Khan, and Teetu Verma. In charge of the music is Pritam Chakraborty.

As producers we can count Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Motion Pictures, while for distribution in Spain we find Paramount Pictures.
