La niña de tacones amarillos

For an entire year, a small town in Argentina assumes the construction of an hotel. There lives a 15-years-old teenage girl, Isabel, who goes through a first-hand experience of this clash of cultures provoked by this situation. She starts working at the premises along with her mother, and little by little she realices she has become the men's object of attraction. That makes her feel powerful and she stars using her seduction abilities to obtain the things she wants, but things get complicated soon.

'La niña de tacones amarillos' is the cinematic debut of María Luján Loioco. In the debut, the director examines the main character relationship with her desires and the town relationship with modernity.
