La familia perfecta

Since she got married, Lucía (Belén Rueda) has always had a single goal: to have the perfect family. Just when it seems she has achieved it, her son introduces her to his girlfriend, Sara (Carolina Yuste) and her in-laws. Neither the girl nor her family are at all what she had planned. Her new daughter-in-law uses a crude vocabulary and lives life freely, without explaining anything to anyone. The whole situation will make Lucía rethink whether the concept of the perfect family is really the one she thinks and, most importantly of all, whether her family is.

This comedy has been directed by Arantxa Echeverría ('Carmen y Lola') and written by Olatz Arroyo ('Allí Abajo', 'Gra Hotel'). It stars Belén Rueda ('El silencio de la ciudad blanca'), José Coronado ('Way Down'), Gonzalo de Castro ('La maldición del guapo'), María Hervás ('La cocinera de Castamar'), Carolina Yuste ('Brigada Costa del Sol'), Gonzalo Ramos ('Seis hermanas'), Pepa Aniorte ('Con el culo al aire') and Pepe Ocio ('Los favoritos de Midas'). This is the second feature film by its director, who had great success with her debut 'Carmen y Lola' and has been nominated twice at the Cannes Festival and has won a Goya award, as well as another for the short film 'De noche y de pronto'.
