The project lasted 10 year in their development. That time was employed to make investigation, documentation and, of course, writing of the script.

A story of injustices

In addition to prepare for each match, the team had to get out to steal at nights. The stolen objects and the earnings must be delivered to the police boss and a few prison offices.

The movie is based upon real events, and was filmed at the same place where they happened, the Santa Martha Acatitla penitentiary.
