La buena letra

Ana tries to support her family in a Valencian village in the aftermath of the war. The Civil War has caused many wounds, not just physical ones, as there are some tensions with Antonio, her brother-in-law. Ana tries to mend things through stews, secrets, and silences, but when Antonio marries Isabel and she becomes part of the family, her efforts will be in vain. Isabel will undermine the attentions and care that Ana tries to give them.

'La buena letra' is based on the novel of the same name by Rafael Chirbes and written and directed by Celia Rico Clavellino ('Journey to a Mother's Room'). Loreto Mauleón, Enric Auquer, Roger Casamajor, and Ana Rujas are the protagonists of this story.
