Plot
A Spanish couple (Nora Navas and Francesc Garrido) travels to an Eastern European country to adopt a child. At first, everything seems to go smoothly, but soon the inherent and place so entrenched bureaucracy experience becomes an odyssey. The couple must face not only problems such as bribery, attempted fraud, long waits, etc., but also their own frustrations, both in their capacity as partner as individually.
The cold climatic context serves as a metaphor for the coldness with which potential parents will be treated as well as stage for a situation that is repeated throughout the world. This is a very unusual film in our cinema (the so aseptic plans, so distant locations, with Nordic reminiscences, etc.) as promising.
Directs and firms the screenplay Daniela Féjerman, which is her first serious foray into drama (after performing three plays).
