L'intervention

Based on a true story, in a small town in Yibuti, an African country in 1976. There, a school bus with twenty one French kids and a North-American teacher are kidnapped by a group of Somalian rebels, who take the bus to the Somalian frontier. The French captain André Gerval is called to lead a small group of elite snipers that will have to do an international secret rescue. Despite the diplomatic efforts, after thirty hours of kidnapping, the tension is rising and time is running out for the kids. With the situation they are facing, Gerval and his team will have to make the decision of attack, just to save the hostages. This high-risk operation will be the beginning of the anti-terrorist unit known as Groupe d?Intervention de la Gendarmerie Nationale (GIGN).
