Plot
Based on a true facts, tells the story of a russian submarine's shipwreck in august 2000. In the K-141 Kursk were a lot of sailors when an intern trouble provoked an explosion and the death of almost every passenger of the submarine. Only a few survive, but they got caught in the submarine without possibility of getting out. Meanwhile, in Russia the families of the sailors began to complain against the russian government and claim for an inmediate rescue.
Directed by danish director Thomas Vinterverg ('The hunt'), 'Kursk' is starred by Colin Firth ('The King's speech'), Léa Seydoux ('Blue Is the Warmest Color'), Matthias Schoenaerts ('Red Sparrow') and Max Von Sydow ('Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close'), among others.

One last goodbye
This is the Michael Nyqvist's final film. He died of Lung cancer in June 2017, a month before shooting was finished. But according to The Guardian, Nyqvist completed his scenes.
