Koko-Di Koko-Da

Married couple Elin (Ylva Gallon, 'Ängelby', 'Utopia') and Tobias (Leif Edlund Johansson, 'Operation Ragnarök', 'The Restaurant') are devastated when their eight-year-old daughter, Maja (Katarina Jakobson, 'Speldosan'), dies after a fatal allergic reaction on holiday. Three years later, the increasingly distant and still grief-stricken Elin and Tobias go on a camping holiday of their own to the middle of the woods in a last-ditch attempt to salvage their rapidly crumbling relationship. However, their trip quickly transforms into a new sort of hell as they are stalked by a trio of three psychopaths: Mog (Peter Belli, 'The Fairytaler', 'Ugeavisen'), Sampo (Morad Baloo Khatchadorian, 'Skills', 'Dipsomania') and Cherry (Brandy Litmanen, 'Spacerabbit'). The trio, manifestations of the stifling grief suffered by the couple, seem to trap Elin and Tobias in a deadly time loop in which they are killed over and over again. Elin and Tobias must learn to confront these dangers, and thus their grief, head on, to escape the woods and work on rebuilding their life and love once more.

'Koko-di koko-da' is a Swedish-language psychological horror film that is both written and directed by Johannes Nyholm, whose other works include 'Las Palmas', 'Jätten' and 'The Pros'.
