Kickboxer: Vengeance

This is the awaited remake of the classical action and fight film whose main character was Jean Claude Van Damme, in 1989. The new story is the same than the original: Kurt Sloan is the corner-man for his brother, U.S. kickboxing champion Eric Sloan. When Kurt witnesses his brother become maliciously paralyzed in the ring by Thailand champion Tong Po, Kurt vows revenge. With the help of Zion, a kickboxing trainer who lives in a remote area of Thailand, Kurt trains for the fight of his life.

This time Dave Bautista plays the lethal Tong Po, and evidently Jean Claude Van Damme is now the master insted of the pupil. The film also starrs Alain Moussi, Georges St-Pierre, Matthew Ziff, Sam Medina and Sue-Lynn Ansari.
