Plot
'Diarios de Kandahar' es a story based on the experience of Louie Palu. The photojournalist was fighting in front in Kandahar, southern Afghanistan. Through his diaries, the documentary is discovering his psychological evolution in mind of violence, disconnected from reality. In this way, the author experiences the crudity, the monotony and the consequences of a war in first person.
The documentary is the point of view of renowned professional photographer unable to understand the violent situation. At the same time he is in constant conflict with the trivialities of his life. Louie Palu has a long professional career in photography. He is a winner of International awards like Pulitzer Center On Crisis Reporting Grant. He had covered the Kandahar (Afghanistan) war and made several short films about the conflict.
