Kandahar

After sabotaging an Iranian nuclear reactor, CIA agent Tom Harris (Gerard Butler) discovers that his identity has been revealed to the press. He has only 30 hours to reach the Kandahar airport in Afghanistan so he can flee and save his life. He has the help of Mo (David Negaban), an Afghan translator who despises the violence caused by war and conflict. Chased by a number of dangers like the terrible murderer Kahil (Ali Fazal), they will both be bound to join forces so they can reach a safe place.

Gerard Butler reunites again with director Ric Roman Waugh after working together in 'Greenland' and 'Angel Has Fallen' to give us a new dose of action and adrenaline. The film is produced by Butler alongside Thunder Road Pictures, Capstone Group and MBC Studios, and is the first international super-production to be filmed entirely in Saudi Arabia. The cast is conformed also by Navid Negahban ('Aladdin', 'American Sniper'), Bahador Foladi ('My Skinny Sister'), Ali Fazal ('Death on the Nile'), Travis Fimmel ('Vikings'), Olivia-Mai Barrett ('The Man Who Fell to Earth') and Nina Toussaint-White ('Bodyguard', 'Doctor Who'). The Spanish MacGregor ('Fall', 'Vivarium') is the director of photography, and Mitchell LaFortune is in charge of the script.
