Just the Three of Us

This comedy tells the story of Gilbert (Daniel Auteuil) and Simone (Catherine Frot), living in a small town in the south of France. They have many problems with their marriage and Simone keeps a romantic affair with her neighbor, Étienne (Bernard Le Coq). When he leaves town, the lack of money and the constant bad mood of his bitter husband becomes too much for Simone. Soon she decides to escape from home. Once she is gone, Gilbert realizes that he can not survive without the love of his life. He decides to look for his wife in every part of the country trying to convince her to return home.

The film is directed and written by French filmmaker José Alcala.
