Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie

Yuta Okkotsu is a young teenager who is haunted. His childhood best friend, Rika, died in a car accident, but her spirit did not vanish, but was corrupted by a curse. Rika's spirit stayed with Yuta and manifests itself to defend him. However, she is no longer the sweet girl that little Yuta knew, but transforms into a powerful and monstrous entity. Yuta also enters the Tokyo Academy of Sorcery.

The film has been directed by Korean Park Seong-Hu, also director of the anime prior to the film version, and written for the big screen by Hiroshi Seko, adapted from the manga by Gege Akutami. The film was produced by the Japanese studio MAPPA and distributed by Toho Animation ('Your name'). In Spain, it has been distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment together with Crunchyroll.

The film takes shape according to the original anime, which began in 2018. In turn, the series is an adaptation of the Japanese manga created and illustrated by Gege Akutami.

Furthermore, 'Jujutsu Kaisen' was voted best Anime of the Year at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in 2021 and 2022.

On the other hand, the film will feature the original voices of Megumi Ogata, Kana Hanazawa, Yuichi Nakamura, Sei Ohama, Mikako Komatsu, Tomokazu Seki and Show Hayami, among others.
