Plot
In 1975, one of the most accomplished directors and one of the most influential artists of recent years, Alejandro Jodorowsky, had an idea to design a project. He had in mind the adaptation of Frank Herbert's science fiction novel Dune. He had even thought of the rest of the team that would accompany him in this adventure: screenwriter Dan O'Bannon, the (future) designer of 'Alien', H.R. Giger and cartoonist Jean "Moebius" Giraud. This overproduction would far exceed the ambition that other filmmakers had previously had. However, the project was not completed. Now, this documentary tells what could have been and was not, with interviews to those involved, discovering the pre-production work of a project that in the end did not see the light.
