Jim's Story

Aymeric reunites one night with Florence, a former coworker who is six months pregnant. At that moment, they both begin to maintain a closer relationship until they become a formal couple, so Aymeric takes on the role of father. Thus, Aymeric attends Florence's childbirth and takes care of little Jim in his early childhood years, raising and educating him alongside Florence.

When the boy has grown enough to start questioning why he has his mother's last name but not his father's, Christophe, Jim's biological father, appears. He has been absent and unconcerned for his son all this time. Then, Aymeric starts to see how he is increasingly distanced from Jim's upbringing and companionship, as Florence appreciates Christophe's arrival to take care of him, leading them to decide to move to another country, leaving Aymeric unable to see the little boy he cared for for so long. Everything will change a few years later when Aymeric receives a call from Jim, now more grown up.

This film is directed by Arnaud Larrieu and Jean Marie Larrieu and stars Karim Leklou as Aymeric. He is joined in the cast by Laetitia Dosch as Florence, Bertrand Belin as Christophe, Eol Personne as young Jim, and Andranic Manet as adult Jim.
