Plot
Directed by Oliver Stone ('Born on the Fourth of July', 'Platoon', 'Natural Born Killers'). 'JFK: Case Revisited' takes a look at the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States, thirty years after the event. The new data that has come to light and the tools we have to observe the past have made it possible to offer a much broader view of the case that has raised a lot of theories since 1963. The assassination took place on November 22 in the city of Dallas, Texas. Kennedy was gunned down in his car as he drove through the city streets by a sniper. Although the shooter was identified, the case has been subject to speculation and new details have emerged over time.
Produced by Ingenious Media, Ixtlan Productions and Pantagruel Productions, this documentary film compiles archives and commentary on the incident that ended with Kennedy's death while appearing on television. Distributed by A Contracorriente Films in Spain.
Some scientists such as Cyril Wecht and Henry Lee, journalists such as David Talbot and actors such as Whoopi Goldberg and Donald Sutherland tell us the details of the case through an exhaustive analysis of it. It is also a sequel to 1991's 'J.F.K.'.
The film received a nomination for Oliver Stones at the Cannes Film Festival.
