Plot
Yura is a japaness child whose family will move from Tokyo to a little rural area to live with his grandmother. There this kid will have to get use to his new home and also to his new christian school where everybody pray. One day a little Jessus will appear to Yura when they are praying in class. From that moment Yura will start to have faith in God an every desire he has will come true.
'Jesus' is the first film directed by Hiroshi Okuyama, he tries to reflect in this film the complex relationship between human beings and faith in all its forms. It will also do it in an original way through the eyes of a child. 'Jesus' won the Kutxabank-New Directors Award at the 66th San Sebastian Film Festival.
