Plot
Jane Goodall is a biologist specialized on primates who became famous due to her research on chimpanzees. With more than 100 hours of unseen footage, National Geographic presents this documentary to tell Jane's story, who defied a world dominated by men with her scientific work and revolutionized the evolution theories. The film is focused on Jane's first exploration, her field work and her relationship with Hugo van Lawick, her cameraman and husband. Besides, it also explores her intimate connection with the chimpanzees she studied. The film is directed by Brett Morgen, responsible for 'Cobain: Montage of Heck' and 'The Kid Stays in the Picture', and composer Philip Glass ('The Truman Show', 'The Hours') sets the film's music.
