Hong Sang-Soo's new film after 'The Woman Who Run' introduces us to a South Korean actress named Sangok who, after several years living in the United States, returns to Seoul to meet her sister and nephew again. Sangok takes advantage of his stay in the capital to rest, walk, discover new places and rediscover old ones like the house where he grew up, which is now a shop. Despite not being a professional actress for some time, Sangok decides to meet a film director several years younger than her. He tries to convince her to join his next film, but Sangok, although he wants to return to acting, hides a secret that makes him hesitate. The cast includes Lee Hye-young, Cho Yun-hee, Kwon Hae-hyo, Shin Seok-ho, Lee Eun-mi, Kim Sae-byeok, Ha Seong-guk, and Seo Young-hwa, Kang Yi-seo. The script, music and photography are handled by Sang-Soo himself, who also produces the film together with Finecut and Jeonwonsa Film, while distribution in Spain is handled by Atalanta Films. I had its world premiere at the last Cannes Film Festival in 2021, participating in the official section, in addition to making an appearance at the New York Film Festival and the Gijón International Film Festival. The film release July 15th 2022 in the Spanish cinemas.
