In a lonely place

?In a Lonely Place? tells the story of the beautiful Teresa and her psychopath stalker, Thomas. Thomas has been obsessed with Teresa, secretly loving her in silence for a number of years.

Teresa is invited to a dis-used, luxurious hotel by Thomas, who ties her up and begins to mentally and physically torture her. Amidst the torture, a series of flashbacks play out detailing the events that lead up to the current situation.

The two characters, played by Lucrezia Frenquellucci (Teresa) and Luigi Busignani (Thomas), are the only ones who appear throughout the whole film. ?In a Lonely Place? is directed and co-written by Davide Montecchi, who shared the latter responsibility with Elisa Giardini.
