Plot
This is an investigation by Bryan Fogel and a cyclist who intends to discover the whole truth about doping in sports but will end up becoming involved in a global scandal when a Russian scientist filters details about a vast doping pattern. This documentary wonders if Putin knew the existence of the Russian doping system. The answer that is put on the table is that yes. What is also known of this plot is that two people related to the Russian doping program died in strange circumstances.
The documentary is directed by Bryan Fogel himself and starring himself and Grigory Rodchenkov.
'Icarus' won the Orwell Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and the Audience Award at the festival's London edition; Will premiere only on Netflix and worldwide on August 4.
