I Saw the Light

Biopic about singer-songwriter Hank Williams country music. Inspired by the biographical novel written by Colin Escott, the film chronicles the life of the great musician, whose fame and prestige, after a meteoric rise came to an end the New Year's Eve 1953, when Williams had 29; the driver hired to transport the musician on tour found him dead to stop to refuel at a gas station. Marc Abraham directed the film, to date only author of another film, 'Flash of Genius'. Starring British actor Tom Hiddleston (know for his role as Loki in Cinematic Marvel Universe), Elizabeth Olsen (know for her role as Scarlet Witch in Cinematic Marvel Universe and her performance in 'Martha Marcy May Marlene'), Cherry Jones ('Signs') and Bradley Whitford ('The West Wing'). Abraham also writes the screenplay.
