I never cry

Ola has to go to Ireland to move the body of her father, who died in a construction accident, to Poland. But the only thing that interests the protagonist of this story is knowing if her father had saved the money he needed for the choche he had promised him. When he manages to deal with the foreign bureaucracy by using his devious ruses, it is time to start knowing his father.

Piotr Domalewski directs and writes this film. Zofia Stafiej, Arkadiusz Jakubik, Kinga Preis, Dawid Tulej, Nigel O'Neill, Shane Casey, David Pearse, Donncha Crowley, Cosmina Stratan, Tomasz Dedek, Andrzej Klak, Zacharjasz Muszynski, Wojciech Skibinski, Tomasz Zietek, Tomasz Schuchardt, Filip Perkowski, Artem Manuilov are the actors who complete the cast of the film.

According to Cineuropa, 'I never cry' "is a moving film, full of empathy and black humor, that would delight Ken Loach. (...). Domalewski deals with the issue of mass economic emigration that began when Poland joined the European Union. Domalewski is the first feature film director to shed some light on the subject.He follows his characters with curiosity and empathy, and focuses on showing the consequences of living without a family, rather than accusing the social system responsible for the situation".
