I Dream in Another Language

Martin (Fernando Álvarez Rebeil) arrives to a Mexican village to record an ancient indigenous language. There, he finds the last two speakers of the language, but they refuse to speak to each other because of a fifty year grudge. He learns that Evaristo (Eligio Meléndez) got into a fight with Isauro (José Manuel Poncelis) because they fell in love with the same woman. Years later, Evaristo continues to avoid Isauro. Martin and Evaristo?s granddaughter, Lluvia (Fátima Molina), tries to convince both to reconcile. Surprised by their intensity when they meet, Lluvia finally reveals to Martin the secret behind the men's entanglement. As Isauro?s health declines, Evaristo struggles to come to terms with his feelings.
