This documentary treats the biography of one of the greatest painters of art history: Claude Monet. Besides having become one of the most remarkable figures of impressionism, Monet was also an important business man. These and other kind of pieces of information are brilliantly reflected in this documentary, which gathers all letters and scripts written by the artist, while also making a walkthrough of his many fellow artists such as Manet, Pissarro o Bazille. Being one of the greatest exponents of the philosophy of perception, Monet lived through many stages in his life that were carried by moments of euphoria, but also by moments of depression. These contrasts between the light and the dark are the main characters of this documentary.
