Plot
Based upon the unfinished work, 'Remember This House' by social critic and author, James Baldwin. Peck draws from these writings to talk about the lives of Malcolm X, Medgar Evers, and Martin Luther King Jr to examine their examples and compare them to today's black America. 'I Am Not Your Negro' is a documentary which is narrated by Samuel L. Jackson ('Pulp Fiction' and 'Django Unchained'). 'I Am Not Your Negro' has been called a social commentary and is a harsh comparison on the treatment of African-Americans, and how the way they have been treated hasn't changed since the 70s. Raoul Peck creates a meditation on what it is like to be Black in America. Directed by Raoul Peck, and produced by Hébert Peck and Rémi Grellety.
