Plot

Lila (Patricia Arquette), a hairy nature passionate; Nathan (Tim Robbins), a scientist obssesed with the good manners; and Puff (Rhys Ifans), a wild man raised in the woods, will see how their lonely lifes collide in this tale that reflects about the deepest and more obvius human desires, sometimes repressed in our mind, but they are always fighting to be set free. The first movie directed by Michel Gondry ('Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind', 'The Science of Sleep') from a script written by Charlie Kaufman (Academy Award winner for the original screenplay of 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind') shows a spiral of impossible romantic relations, of civism and freedom contrasts... But above everything is an essay about human nature.
