Plot
Jerry Rothwell ('Deep Water', 'Town of Runners', 'Donor Unknown') directs the documentary feature 'How to Change the World', a film full of interviews and never seen footage that shows how Greenpeace was created. It was the year 1971. A group of friends who lived in Vancouver decided to face the system sailing to a nuclear test zone. The green revolution started there, with a new way of protesting that has spread all over the world. The organization has nowadays 2.7 million members, and has 41 offices in different parts of the planet. 'How to Change the World' tells us the long journey undertaken by a group of fellow journalists and hippies scientists who used their cameras with the intention of changing the course of the planet Earth. Because sometimes it's enough with a few simple images to stir consciences and encourage a profound social change.
