Plot
The Kellys are the women that everyday clean hotel rooms all around Spain. After 2008 financial crisis, the hotel companies decided to outsource their services, which ended in worse working conditions. This documentary feature, self-founded by crowfunding in order not to ask for financial help to any bank, explores this collective struggle for their rights. In hotels in Barcelona, Madrid, Benidorm and Lanzarote, their female workers go out in the streets and, even, to the European Parliament to reclaim that this problem they face is an European problem. An engaged, fighting and necessary film that tells the story of more than 200,000 people in our hotels everyday, without their collective fight, their lives would never be better.
