'Hotel by the River' won the Best Actor Award at the Locarno Festival and the Best Film, Best Screenplay and Best Actor awards at the Gijón International Film Festival.

A place already known

The film was invited to the Locarno Film Festival of Switzerland in 2018. In 2013 the director won at the same Festival as Best Director and in 2015 he won the Best Film award.
