Hotel by the River

'Hotel by the River' shows two stories that cross in a hotel on the banks of a river and near a hotel. An elderly poet, invited by the owner for free, invites his two children who are separated because he feels that his life is a point to end. A young woman (played by Kim Min-hee) whose heart has been broken, has been found by a friend who tries to comfort and help her. These two stories intersect in the same way.

The film also uses a color palette. Its director, Sang-soo, elaborates an incredible examination on the family, the mortality and the ways in which we try to heal the wounds that left us scar.
