Carlos and Eva are a marriage in crisis and financial ruin, with their son Jonás being the only thing that unites them. When their son travels to the United States and dies, the couple seeks a solution to repatriate their son's body. This unexpected circumstance leads them on both a geographical and emotional journey.

From that moment on, the couple focuses solely on finding money to resolve the problem that has arisen and that will change their lives forever. 'Honeymoon' is a dramatic film with thriller elements that reflects the harshness of a child's death and the desperation of a marriage trying to find a solution to such an unexpected situation.

'Honeymoon' is directed by Enrique Otero ('Funes o Inventor da Lúa', 'Crebinsky'), who is also part of the scriptwriting team along with Roberto G. Méndez. The main cast includes Javier Gutiérrez ('Campeones', 'Mañana es hoy') and Nathalie Poza ('Mientras dure la guerra', 'La boda de Rosa') as the married couple Carlos and Eva. The rest of the cast features María Vázquez, Antonio Durán "Morris," Fernando Albizu, and Pablo Derqui, among others.

The film 'Honeymoon' was shot during 2022 and was presented at the Malaga Festival. It is scheduled to hit Spanish cinemas in early January 2024, distributed by Filmax.
