Hellboy

Based on Mike Mignola's cult classic comic book series and a reboot of the franchise headed by Guillermo del Toro, 'Hellboy' sees David Harbour ('Stranger Things') stepping into the shoes of the legendary antihero. Hellboy, a part-demon creature sporting jagged horns that was birthed as a result of a satanic ceremony performed by the Nazi organisation The Occultists of the Third Reich, is back with a vengeance in Neil Marshall's take on the character.

The main conflict of 'Hellboy' traces back to the medieval era, in which an evil blood queen named Nimue (Milla Jovovich, 'The Fifth Element') was defeated by King Arthur (Mark Stanley, 'Dark River') before she could conquer the realm. Centuries later, in the present day, Hellboy is given his most challenging mission yet by the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense. He must team up with Professor Trever "Broom" Bruttenholm (Ian McShane, 'Pirates of the Caribbean'), Alice (Sasha Lane, 'The Miseducation of Cameron Post') and Major Ben Daimio (Daniel Dae Kim, 'Always Be My Maybe') to take down the raging royal when she comes back for revenge.

Directed by Neil Marshall ('The Descent') with a screenplay by Andrew Crosby ('Eureka'), 'Hellboy' marks the cinematic return of a much loved comic book character.
