Hell of a Summer

Jason Hochberg, a 24-year-old camp counselor, arrives at Pineway Camp despite his family's opposition, as they believe he is too old to still be at summer camps and should get his life together. After a brief meeting with the other counselors, Hochberg establishes certain rules that they will obviously proceed to constantly break, engaging in all kinds of disrespectful and inappropriate behaviors, which will cause Hochberg to feel alienated and not part of the group.

Everything changes when a masked killer appears and begins to brutally murder all the counselors one by one. They will try to uncover the identity of this mysterious person while struggling to save their lives, but being still teenagers, they will be overwhelmed by the situation. The group of counselors will propose several absurd solutions, such as conducting a ouija board session, leading them to reason that even Hochberg himself might be the one committing the crimes.

The horror-comedy is directed by Billy Bryk and Finn Wolfhard, famous for his role as Mike Wheeler in the series 'Stranger Things' and Richie Tozier in the movie 'It'. Additionally, Wolfhard acts in the film portraying Chris and co-writes it with Bryk.
