Plot
Sequel to 'Halloween' (2018), and second part of the new trilogy about Laurie Strode and Michael Myers, directly keeping up with the John Carpenter's 1978 classic. Jamie Lee Curtis takes back her iconic role that made her become one of the most popular scream queens of the film industry, now in a more adult version of her iconic character who has to protect her daughter and her granddaughter.
This new episode was announced with a one more part, a third one, in the San Diego Comic Con of 2019, due to the critical and box office success of the 2018 film. Because of that, all the team of that film is back, counting David Gordon Green as the director and Danny McBride one again writing the script. The plot deals with the lives of Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis), Karen (Judy Greer) and Allyson (Anti Matichak) after the monster Michael Myers gets free from the trap they had prepared for him. Despite the pain she feels from her wounds, Laurie prepares a plan to continue defending herself and, if that were not enough, manages to get the entire town of Haddonfield to fight the demonic creature. The strategy is to form a group and take down Michael Myers. But the latter will not give up and set his usual bloodbath in motion.

These things always come in threes
Having succeed in both reviews and box office with 'Halloween' (2018), producer Jason Blum used the Comic Con in july 2019 for announcing not one but two sequels, creating a new trilogy with an old version of Laurie Strode, still performed by Jamie Lee Curtis.
