Plot
'Gwen' illustrates a popular and obscure account found in the hills of Wales during the Industrial Revolution. The story locate us in the territory of Snowdonia, in the nineteenth century, in which a young girl desperately tries to keep her home together. Fighting against a mysterious disease that his mother has, the confrontation too, the absence of his father and his ruthless and dangerous company that invades his lands.
A strange darkness begins to gradually take over their home, while the community of their place begins to suspect the situation of Gwen and her family.
The film counts with the direction of William McGregor, a cast led by Maxine Peake, Richard Harrington, Eleanor Worthington-Cox or Mark Lewis Jones, among others.
