Grave of the Fireflies

At the end of 1945, with the 2nd World War near to the end, Japan is under constant bombardment by the United States. Seita and Setsuko are two sons of a Japanese naval officer, have 14 and 5 years respectively. One day, the city of Kobe is bombed. During that bombing they fail to arrive on time to the bunker where his mother is waiting for them. then they start searching, finally found in the school, which is being used as a hospital. His mother is seriously injured. Ghibli critically acclaimed film, but this film isn't directed by Hayao Miyazaki.
