Grandma

Sage (Julia Garner) set foot in the house of her grandmother Ellen (Lily Tomlin) to ask for money. Ellen just broke up with her partner, Olivia (Judy Greer), so it seems that this unexpected visit does not come at the best time.

Ellen does not know that Sage need help because she is pregnant. Although the circumstances are not the best and the two barely know each other, grandmother and granddaughter embark on a journey to raise the money Sage needs. At the end the adventure has nothing to do with the money they need, but with the relationship of the protagonists, who take the opportunity to know each other a little more. The film written and directed by Paul Weitz, also features Marcia Gay Harden and Laverne Cox .
